Mount the Magnetic Adapter Ring

Thread the Magnetic Adapter Ring to your lens. Avoid overtightening.

Attach the Filter

Align the filter's grip tabs with the gaps in the adapter ring, then twist to lock in place. Once locked, the filter rotates freely and won't detach until it's turned back to the original alignment.

Rotate the filter until the grip tabs realign with the gaps in the adapter ring, then lift to remove.

Absolute game changer

These filters are a game changer for convenience. I'm about to easily change filters on the go without having to unscrew filters. The filters also have a locking mechanism within the thread so they help to keep the filters from flying off when knocked from the side. Simply twist to align the knobs on the outside to unlock.

The downside is that the base magnetic ring doesn't fit with the lens hood on my Tamron 11-20mm f2.8. The magnetic end caps that come with the filter kit don't sit flush on the back of the filters either, so you can't really use them as a reliable storage option.
