Thread the Adapter Ring
Attach the adapter ring to the lens by turning clockwise. Hand-tighten only, and do not use tools.

Install a Filter (Optional)
Thread a 39mm thin-frame filter onto the adapter ring and secure gently.

Attach the Hood
Align the dot and triangle marks on the hood and adapter ring. Rotate clockwise until the dots align to lock the hood.

To Remove
Rotate the hood counter-clockwise until the triangle mark aligns with the dot mark, then pull straight off.
