Determine Filter Size

Match the diameter (e.g. Ø49mm) on your lens to the filter size. This is different to focal length.

Mount the Magnetic Adapter Ring

Thread the Magnetic Adapter Ring to your lens. Avoid overtightening.

Attach the Filter

Align the filter's grip tabs with the gaps in the adapter ring, then twist to lock in place. Once locked, the filter rotates freely and won't detach until it's turned back to the original alignment.

Remove the Filter

Rotate the filter until the grip tabs realign with the gaps in the adapter ring, then lift to remove.

Beautiful filter

The filter is wonderful. There is no apparent degradation of image quality and it feels way more secure than most of the cheaper magnetic filters. The locking mechanism is very effective. I knocked a star off the score because I didn't realize that the filter would be incompatible with the existing lens shade for my Sony 24-105mm f/4 lens. It isn't a big deal with this lens, but it would have been nice to be forewarned that there is a real possibility that the filter will preclude you using a lens shade at the same time
