Set Camera to Manual

Set mode to Manual (M) or Aperture Priority (A). In settings, enable "Shoot Without Lens". Turn on Manual Focus Assist, and set lens to Manual Focus (MF) if there's an AF/MF switch.

Set Adapter to Open

Before attaching the lens, rotate the adapter’s ring to align the marker with the “>|” (Open) position.

Attach Lens to Adapter

Align the red dots on your lens and adapter, and rotate clockwise until locked.

Mount Adapter to Camera

Attach the adapter to your camera as you would a lens, rotating it clockwise until it clicks into place.

Adjust aperture

To change aperture, fix the textured ring to "o<" position. Then, adjust aperture by rotating lens aperture ring.

Absolutely love this adapter!

I am truly obsessed with this adapter, I've been given a ton of FD lenses by friends and family, and I am so excited to be able to use them with my new X-T50. I'm finally able to achieve the filmic look I've been wanting for so long! The adapter is easy to use, and feels high quality. I will be recommending it to all of my photographer friends!

Great quality adapter with one slight issue

Great quality product.

It feels nice and solid, looks very good compared to competitors.

However, if you forget to reset the aperture preview ring before you mount a lens, the lens will be stuck with the aperture wide open.

To fix this you have to remove the lens again and reset the ring.

Not a big problem, just annoying.
