DESCRIPTION

By blocking 3 to 7 f-stops, you can use wider apertures in low variable light for shallower depth of field effects, and slower shutter speeds for long exposure effects without overexposing your images. Videographers can use our ND8–128 Variable ND Filter Plus+ to create more cinematic effects in low to bright light.

Our Plus+ range features 20 layers of nano-coating providing easier cleaning and better protection against water, oil, and scratches. These layers also provide a higher maximum light transmission and a more consistent transmission curve for truer light reduction.

Find your filter size
Inquisitively search lens for diameter symbol. Ø often marks the spot. The diameter you seek may be accompanied by a number – Ø58 or Ø58mm. Look to the side and the front – this precious number is your filter size. Be warned: your lens focal length (e.g. 18-55mm) is not your filter size.

Place flat and screw clockwise
Excitedly behold lens in one hand and place flat on lens. Gently screw clockwise until just firm. Do not over-tighten that which goes on must one day come off.

Urth ND8-128

Excellent quality filter, used for video with Canon R3. The only minor negative is the width of the adjustment ring. It doesn't allow the hood to be fitted after the filter is fitted. Not a problem with wider lenses with shallow hoods but not easy with telephoto hoods that are deeper. The adjustment ring doesn't need to be wider than the filter rim, polarised filters I have used in the past haven't been and I have never had a problem rotating the ring.

Awesome addition to your Kit!

One of the best variable filters that i have used that that works seamlessly at both extremes! Have been pairing it up with few of my lenses and I must say i am quite impressed with the output. Keep up the good work!
